Most young, Hollywood actresses would stop at having a shoe named after them (in this case a Louboutin).. taking a break to bask in their newly minted "style icon" status. Not so much for a California girl, now the face and inspiration to front Chanel’s new Mademoiselle handbag line. 


“Though I am the face of it, I will carry it like every girl,” Lively said of the bag. “I will always feel it’s more than just a purse. It’s a quilted case full of lipstick, love letters and the dreams and possibilities that I have always felt every time I see that beautiful ‘CC.’" 

Shot by the man himself in Paris, for the ads slated to enter circulation this Spring, Lively is definitely speaking the truth, when she said to WWD that, “A dream come true is an understatement. I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around.” 


Here's hoping she doesn't end up in CSI re-run land playing a street walker like Mischa Baron, that other former "It" girl high school graduate from the sunnier coast.
